Description

öFix FMO Strasse ST is a high-performance, native cleaning concentrate based on biosurfactants. It has been specially developed for the mechanical removal of oil marks and the cleaning of traffic areas using a wet post-cleaning process. It can be used both for pre-spraying and as an additive for the mechanical removal of oil marks and the cleaning of traffic areas. The cleaning concentrate is effective down to a minimum concentration of 2 %, making it extremely efficient and cost-effective to use. Our liquid oil binder, FMO Strasse ST, dissolves all synthetic, mineral, animal and vegetable hydrocarbon-based contaminants, such as diesel, fuel, engine oil, hydraulic oil or cooking oils. Thanks to its excellent penetrating power, even deeply embedded contaminants are dislodged from porous asphalt. Due to its high dissolving power, high temperatures (max. 40–50 degrees Celsius) are not required for application, meaning the structural integrity of the road surfaces is not unnecessarily compromised. öFix FMO Strasse ST is based on 100% natural or native raw materials and contains no hazardous substances or aggressive chemicals. This ensures it is particularly safe for users and the environment. Furthermore, thanks to its mild formulation, öFix FMO Strasse ST does not damage sensitive vehicle components such as seals, which helps to extend the service life of expensive vehicles and machinery.

APPLICATION

Usage & Dosage

öFix FMO Strasse ST is used as a pre-cleaner and additive in the wet post-cleaning process for removing oil stains and cleaning contaminated road surfaces.

öFix FMO Road ST: depending on the thickness of the oil mark, dilute the % concentration with water in a ratio of 1:5

Preliminary cleaning (optional)

Depending on the level of contamination, spray FMO Strasse ST onto the oil spill at a concentration of between 5 % and 100 %

Test run

After optional pre-cleaning using a cleaning vehicle, drive over the oil spill. Add FMO Strasse ST as an additive at an application concentration depending on the level of contamination and the vehicle’s specifications.

Should any minimal residues remain after cleaning, these will be broken down naturally by the nutrients and biosurfactants in FMO Strasse ST.
